About Us
Security Hourglass LLC is led by Alexander Grijalva, a certified information security professional with 30 years of experience providing cybersecurity services to profit and non-profit organizations in healthcare, higher education, and retail organizations.
He has presented at healthcare compliance, insurance, and clinical research conferences covering data privacy and data security.
Additionally, he has served as an expert witness in cybersecurity cases.
Alexander is also an adjunct lecturer at New York City College of Technology at CUNY where he teaches undergraduate courses in network security. Additionally, he teaches a privacy and security course in Columbia University's Health IT Certificate program.
